To inspire my kindergarten students, we would learn about different character traits each month. They would take the word and create it, I would have it on a bulletin board along with the meaning. I would also give a weekly quote. I would then have them collaborate on a mantra that went with the trait. We would discuss this throughout the month and give shout-outs to students that went above and beyond to use that trait in their every day life.
