I think this is a simple but powerful tool that helps students dig deeper into a problem by asking “why” repeatedly to uncover its root cause. It encourages critical thinking, reflection, and a deeper understanding of issues before trying to solve them. I think it’s valuable because it teaches students to look beyond surface-level symptoms and develop solutions that address the real source of a problem.
