Inquiry requires students to dig deeper into their learning and use tools such as effective questioning and problem solving.
Inquiry-based learning empowers students when they can solve their questions/ problems through their way of learning/ experimentation. Students will remember more when they are working through the problem themselves.
Inquiry is something that is empowering through having the students solve problems by answering their own questions through experimentation. This removes the memorization aspect of learning; just learning information to spit it out for a test, then forgetting it.
This kind of goes with understanding vs memorizing, with inquiry based lessons students truly know what they are doing as they have to think deeper vs just memorizing steps towards solving a problem but not truly understanding.
I think that this is very important, allowing students to work through problems and be creative allows them to understand it a lot better.
It is easy enough to tell a student an answer, but it is more likely to stick with them if they had to work to find the answer to their question. Of course, you can help them down the right path, but you should not tell them.
I love the idea of inquiry based learning. I think the problem with this idea is that the school system does not allow any room for inquiry based learning. As an aspiring high school math teacher, it is really hard have inquiry based learning without already knowing the math prior.
I think it is important to strive for student-centered learning but understand that there are times for all levels of inquiry-based learning.
I like inquiry-based learning as it is based on the students' problem-solving abilities and helps them become great thinkers.
Inquiry based learning is a great tool to be used in the classroom it allows for more active learning. The part about social media was a great example to show how students can have a voice in their learning.
I like how the video used social media examples to explain inquiry-based learning. I agree with this learning as it lets the students have a voice.
inquiry based learning is a great way to stuydents to talk to one another to combine their knowldege to make a quick thoughts and rely on eachother quickly.
Inquiry-based learning in my opinion is one of the best for a quicker paced learner. It allows students to use themselves as well as each others information to guide themselves to a better learning process.
Inquiry-based learning is a good way for students to rely on each other and ask questions at a quick pace.
I think Inquiry-Based Learning is the best kind of learning since students rely on each other and can ask questions. It may seem messy but students learn at a rapid pace.
I think that inquiry-based learning is based on experimental learning, students would guide themselves to their best learning outcomes which is great because they are essentially constructing their learning. I think this is one of those methods that allow students to have a voice and choice in their learning.
I think that this would be a very cool way to learn because it is all based on a trial and error method, this will also ensure them that their voice matters.
Inquiry learning is a different way for students because it is an experiment and you guide them but this is a trial and error where they rely on others and you get some of the information. this is where you learn from your mistakes.
Inquiry based learning is a great way for students to experiment and guide themselves to their best learning paths. If they fail then they can realize something new has to happen. If the succeed they know to keep going.
I really like this idea of inquiry-based learning. I like the idea of experimenting and allowing students to test out their theories and fail and from their devise why they failed and learn from their mistakes and keep trying until the get the correct answer or response.
Inquiry-based learning allows students to guide his/her own learning which would probably make them want to be more engaged because they are learning about something that interests them.
I love the concept of Inquiry-Based Learning. I love the Harry Potter reference to Dumbledore's army as an example of Inquiry-based learning.
Inquiry based learning does a great job of allowing the student to guide his/her education the way that they may learn best.
Inquiry based learning is great because it lets students be more active in the learning and allows them to learn from each other.
Inquiry based learning is something I am always interested and excited to learn more about. Since inquiry based learning allows for students to learn deeper and have more voice and active participation in their learning, I think it is very interesting and exciting to use.
Inquiry based learning is successful because students learn more from their peers than from people older than them. They are comfortable with their peers and can still use resources to find the answers they need. It is heavily rooted in the scientific process but it can also look more like the engineering design process.
I am so excited to be a part of this shift from passive to active learning. Inquiry-based learning allows students to take ownership over their learning, which engages them and promotes critical-thinking.

Mar 29, 2021Cortney, It is exciting to see our students as active-learners. As they take ownership over their learning and their critical-thinking becomes more developed through their engagement becoming more purposeful, it really is exciting.
