Inquiry based learning is beneficial for students as it allows them to feel as though their opinion matters in learning.

Students better connect to learning when they are free to ask and explore questions. Investigation is engaging.

When students take hold of their learning, they tend to understand concepts more. Inquiry-based learning is perfect for students who cannot learn through lectures. Inquiry learning ties back into the C-model in module one.

When a student takes control of their learning, they seem to grasp onto knowledge better as they have to dig in deeper into the information. It better prepares them for whats out in the real world happening.

Inquiry based learning is specifically for students, it allows them to explore and be creative, which will be very beneficial in the real world.

Inquiry-based learning provides teachers with the same results they've always strived for. However, this method comes with relinquishing a lot of control which I think is hard for either new teachers or veteran teachers who do not want to change. Giving students that freedom is scary but well worth it.

Giving students the motivation to take lead in their learning gives them their own motivation for learning. This allows the student to want to learn and helps them gain knowledge at their own pace.

Allowing students to take charge in their learning gets them involved since they may be looking at something that interests them. This will enable them to focus entirely on attempting to solve a problem.

When we allow students to have that choice in their learning I think that it opens the doors to more engagement that most teachers aim for. It allows students to be expressive and in control of their learning environment. Engagement is one of those key elements for learning, educators need to trigger that thought of "I want to know more of what this means" so students' curiosity will lead them to figure things out.

Letting students be in charge of their learning is not only a great way to keep them engaged with the material but to also see their thought process along with their prior knowledge

when you allow students to be in charge of their own learning this is why they can use prior knowledge to find the answer to the questions and this can actually make their way to be more engaged because of its different learning style.

Allowing students to guide themselves in learning allows them to find things that interests them. They gain engagement and interaction through interest.

I think that allowing students to learn what they find interesting is so important. They will be more than likely more interested in what they are learning and participate in the class more which will lead to more learning.

Students' curiosity leads the learning. I think it's great that the kids can take the content in the directions that they want to learn and then it is their job to provide evidence of their learning.

Curiosity is something that all students walk into the classroom with. It is important to teach them how to use this to their benefit in the classroom setting.

I think that letting students go some and work toward success in inquiry learning is important, since they are harnessing skills that will be important for them for the rest of their lives.

Being successful in inquiry learning takes a lot from the teacher as they have to be willing to let go of the reigns a little bit to allow students to learn. We can help guide them along to process but students should be able to find the answers for themselves. Some students may need more supports and that is ok as well.

We see our students doing things that really matter to them, and they're excited. This helps others get involved.
