There are so many different instructional methods. Things can be taught through worksheets, small group projects, etc.
When I think of visual learning, I'm reminded of anchor charts. Visual learning can serve as a memory of learning in the classroom. This allows children and adults to reflect on, evaluate, and build on their previous work and ideas.
Personally Visually learning is highly effective, seeing what they are learning I think helps students memorize better and know exactly what is being taught about.

I think this resource is wonderful in visual aid learning because students need a guide to go off of. Students need to attach instruction to a visual so they can see what is expected of them. It just allows for another acclimation of learning I feel. Educators shouldn't expect students to know what is expected of them if they haven't be shown a model of such material.

I think that compiling student work into posters or putting it up on the wall is a really good idea. It shows the students that you're proud of their work and they should be, too. It also shows the growth of their work as they continue through the year, so that they are able to track it themselves.
Many students need a visual link to learning so having the evolution of work on the wall is a visual cue for students that they have learned. Also allowing for critiques allows students to learn how to take feedback and to change the process for their learning.
Projects are really great for students to learn how to build problem solving and doing research.
