I really liked this video because it challenges the idea that only certain people are creative. It made me realize that creativity isn’t just about art, it can be solving problems, thinking differently, or coming up with new ideas in everyday situations.
Creativity is more than just what we do in art, it looks different for every person.
This argues that creativity is more than art or invention, it includes problem-solving, collaboration, and applying ideas in new ways. It shows that everyone can be creative when given the opportunity and encouragement.
My thoughts on "We need a Bigger Definition of Creativity" are, we should not put a distinct definite label on what creativity looks like. For each person creativity can look completely different than it does for others. Instead we should focus more on ways to nurture students creativity.
I think this video was interesting because it shows how everyone is creative in their own way. Creativity can involve more than just making things like thinking differently on data or exploring ideas.
