Project based learning is important as it allows students to develop deep thinking skills as well as an understanding of the material that they are learning.
I think PBL is important because it provides the context for students to develop skills that they will need for the rest of their lives.
When I did PreK progress-based learning was used. I loved that the children got to pick a topic that they were interested in and we put it into our daily learning. Putting a lot of the artwork and writing out for display. This learning style helped keep the children engaged and build hep critical thinking skills.
PBL is great for deep thinking and understand of material, it lets students have a tight grasp on the knowledge they are gaining.
As someone who is an art major a lot of my work is done in hopes that people will see it and love it as much as I do. I want this same feeling of passion, confidence, and motivation from my students in any area they so choose. They deserve it and we will both benefit from them having that opportunity.
Project based learning allows students to develop a deeper understanding so they can apply what they learn through collaboration and communication. I think PBL is a great way to motivate students because they know that their work will be seen by others.
I like that it's hands-on and visual. This will constantly evolve students in their learning.
I think PBL is a good way of learning because you could cover mass amount of material in one central assignment technically. It allows for more critical thinking, collaboration, and solution in the classroom environment. I think PBL is a good source but I also think that sometimes project can be overload as well in terms of the amount of work and time that students need to complete.
something I took away from this is she talked about how someone is going to care about this and she is talking about when you are displaying your student's work .project based learning is giving the students control of their learning and letting it be more free but they will still have work but they are developing the skills they need.
I really like PBL because it gives the students some control over their learning as well as provides them with deeper learning. I also like the collaboration side of PBL. I always seem to learn more when I can collaborate with fellow students and bounce my thoughts off of them and in turn learn from one another.
PBL helps students gain a deeper understanding of subjects. It also provides room for control on the students end as to how a project is completed.
PBL is a way of teaching that gives students a context for developing a deep understanding and developing the kinds of skills that they need to go on with whatever they want to go on within life.
Project-based learning allows students to take control and acquire a deeper understanding of what they are learning.
Project-based learning is a student-centered type of education that involves a dynamic classroom approach . Project-based learning is believed to that students will acquire a deeper knowledge through active exploration of challenges and problems.
Interdisciplinary projects can be efficiently done through Project-Based Learning. It may take more time to complete these projects, but they contain multiple content areas and allow for success skills to be addressed. Students make meaning out of their learning because they are solving a problem. Questioning and challenges inspire the learning and then the students use their own process to find the answer. A product appears at the end where students are able to share and explain showing their understanding.
PBL is a teaching method in which students gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to an authentic, engaging and complex question, problem or challenge.
This allows students to think outside the box and solve real life problems.
