I love the variety of support in different areas and ideas because successfully changing the world is not just one idea or up to one person
This shows that you have to always be positive, and if you put your mind to it you have the ability to make a positive change.
I think that the idea of change can be daunting, especially if you are looking at a large system that has been in place for a decent while. Videos such as these are important because change will only occur when there are individuals who are empowered, passionate, and determined to see a change no matter how skeptical others may be.
This shows how you can turn bad into very much good if you really want to, and you can change the world while doing so.

Videos like this are very inspiring to various age groups and they often do not talk about just the positive aspects of their message. They share their entire journey which I think is important to acknowledge. Everything is a process you just have to be willing to follow it through.
For someone who wants to see a change in the world, I think research and videos like this are great starting points for making change happen. We can't and won't see change unless we make it happen.

Ted talks are excellent, and this shows another reason why. It allows us to see how to turn a pessimist situation into an optimistic one, which is something that everyone can learn from.
These videos are good because it shows how people all over the world can make a change and not one person has to do the same thing. For example, there is a video talking about how there is economic injustice in the plastic industry, or how people can make change through coding and cryptography.
No matter the situation, there will always be a positive, if you remain positive.

These videos are very motivating and demonstrate how one person can make a significant difference. These videos would be fantastic to display in schools to encourage children and show them that they can make a difference in their communities.
I think that these videos show the positive through the negatives, we shouldn't focus on the negatives but instead take them and make them positives. In life, we are often not dealt a good hand, but we have to suffice what we have been dealt to get better outcomes and I think that is exactly what these videos portray.
These videos show many ways to have a positive outlook on a situation versus always having a negative thought about it.

All of these videos offer great examples of the positive changes people are making all of the world. I think it is important to set examples for kids and to also show them people that look like them that are making such big differences in the world we live in. This gives them that mindset that hey I look like this person and if they can do it so can I and fosters that likely hood that they will either now or in the future do what they can to make positive changes to our world.
I enjoyed each of these motivational videos, they truly represent a positive understanding of how people are making a difference in the world.

I watched David Wish's video and learned about the ways in which he and his organization have worked to provide music programs and education to kids in schools all over the US and the ways in which this has impacted those kids. I think this is interesting and inspiring to learn about because he spends time pointing out all of the different factors that play into confidence/success as well as how we can help students with these things.
These videos are so inspiring to see how we can help so many people whether they have dyslexia or are incarcerated. New designs for dyslexia was really interesting as I feel that those students were commonly looked over and so much work went into finding new solutions to help fuel their learning.
Videos like this ,truly showing students the different ways something can be viewed and how others see the ideas when something is presented. Their reactions could be different and also helpful.
I really enjoyed the video on new ways to help with dyslexia. I feel that dyslexia is a condition that can be quite irritating for those who struggle with it, and if there are ways to help them throughout the day we should all try to learn more about it.
I learned about Rachel Lloyd who worked with incarcerated women, and exposed human trafficking across the globe. Her dedication and care for helping other women is admirable. Women can and will change the world.
These types of video help students see that there are different ways that they can learn.
I really enjoyed 'New solutions for dyslexia: Luz Rello at TEDxMadrid'. She hit on some really important points that all educators should know, but the most important was changing text design. If we simply change our font to 18 point, those students that struggle with dyslexia made fewer mistakes in reading. I for one am willing to try with my student to help increase their confidence.
I specifically enjoyed the "Jeff Edmondson - The Key to Educational Improvement: Data and How We Use It" Ted Talk. There is a phrase he said that stuck with me. He said, "social return investment." I stopped for a moment and thought, that is what education really is. We, as educators, foster and develop our students so that they can contribute to society down the road. If we view a child's education as such, we may be more inclined to include these ideas of social innovation into our classroom.
